The Flanderhof Manor, once the seat of the Count of Thalheim in the 14th century and owned by the Bordon family in the 20th century, is now a beautifully restored property in the picturesque village of Talheim/Daia, just 9 km from Sibiu and 12 km from the city center. Bought and restored by the current owner in 1998, the manor offers 10 guest rooms equipped with Wi-Fi, bathrooms, and toilets. Dining options are available both indoors and outdoors, with opportunities for barbecuing. Count Michael de Villegas de Clercamp designed the manor's gardens, which are adorned with many rare trees and more than 280 different plants and flowers. The manor has several rooms - the Orangerie, Loggia, and conference rooms - where meetings, cultural activities, and events can be arranged. From here, you can explore the wonderful countryside and rich historical buildings, such as the Saxon fortified churches of Hârtibaciu Valley. Just 20 km away are the mountains and forests of Făgăraș, a natural haven that invites walking and biking in these beautiful surroundings.
