In Stejarisu is a small traditional restaurant run by capable women from the village. The Transylvanian cuisine is very hearty and creative, using recipes from the past with additions for today's taste, such as lovage, savory, caraway, laurel and basil from the backyard garden. Together with traditional sheep's cheese and homegrown meat are the base of the delicious dishes in the Stejarisu restaurant. Traditionally the meal starts with a glass of a strong local drink followed by a tasty soup and a main course.
